Le Solano (phase 7)

This 7th phase of a Montreal condo complex followed in the footsteps of its neighboring phases to install electric vehicle charging stations, using RVE technology as well. The project benefited from the expertise of engineering firm Dupras-Ledoux and the Lilco Électrique inc. team for the installation, which was completed in 2022.

Powering an electric vehicle charging infrastructure in a multi-unit building where some of the electric meters are located on the roof (inaccessible) and others are located in the garage basement (accessible).


To power a charging infrastructure for some of the 146 units of this condominium, a dual solution was required. Indeed, since some of the meters were accessible while others were not, different technologies were installed.

For the units with an accessible meter, the DCC product line was used:

  • DCC-9 for units with an electrical panel of 125A and less wanting a charger now

For the units with an inaccessible meter, the SMP product line was used:
